Installed Tokico springs w/ Illuminas

Along with a the Paradox Heavy-duty strut bar. The difference in handling compared to stock is incredible. The car sits really nice with a 2 finger gap and I imagine it'll will settle down a bitmore in the coming weeks. If anyone is looking for a strut bar with form AND function, the PS heavy-duty dresses up the engine beautifully and seems to perform really well. Anyway, just sharing the joy.

Anyone with Illuminas, what is the easiest way to adjust the rear shocks once they are installed? They're set to 5(max) and I'd like to tune them down a little...

ye, drop is the same, when you adjust the settings, you adjust the stiffness or softness or the shock not the height

Get a flashlight, a regular screwdriver and empty your trunk. The adjusters are at the top of each shock near the wheel well. Once you peel back the trunk lining on each side you will see the tops of each shock. You will have to crawl part-way into the trunk. Use your screwdriver to set the adjuster screw to point to the setting you want. Make sure when you do the adjustment the screw clicks fully into the detent for position 1-5.

A good setting is in the 2-4 range. People here seem to favor 3f/3r, 3f/4r or 4f/4r for a firmer ride or possibly 2f/2r for a more cushy ride. I'd suggest starting with 3f/3r, see how you like it and go from there.

Ya I started off with 5/5 but quickly switched the fronts to 2 since it's pretty cold up here and it was very stiff. You can definitely feel the difference. I'll be re-adjusting the backs tonight, thanks for the info. I'll try and post picks today.

Wow, and I thought it was a pain to lie on my back next to the car to adjust the rear AGXs...

I took another route to getting at the rear struts when I installed them since I knew the freakin' sub would be in the way.
Behind the back seat is a piece of sheetmetal. The struts sit exactly behind this piece of sheetmetal. I cut two semi-circles in the metal right in front of the struts. So now all I have to do is take out the back seat to adjust. Still a pain, but it's only 4 bolts and takes 3 minutes.

Ya, I think I still prefer doing it from the trunk

Good alternative though...

whatever's easier. It's much less work for me to just remove the back seat than it is to unbolt and take out the sub.

It sounds worse than it really is. Once you've done it a couple of times, it's pretty quick, a couple of minutes at the most. Fortunately, once you find a setting you like, you can leave it alone. I changed it when the weather got cold to soften the ride, this Spring I'll change it back.
