Trouble Starting!!!

Tried to start my car this morning in Princeton, NJ, where the weather was 12F... It seemed like it was trying to turn over, but all I got out of it was a drained battery. Then I hooked up some jumpers and all I got out of that was a fkuced up starter I think. I turn the key now and all I hear is click, click, click, with the key held in the start position. Do you think it is my starter or maybe something else? I would appreciate any help you guys can give me, thanks, Greg

Tap your starter (gently) a couple of times and try it again. I'm going though the same issue, mine clicks occasionally. I usually tap it using a piece of copper tubing and it starts right after. This cold weather is brutal, so your battery also has to be in top shape or she won't crank. Typically batteries last from 3 to 5 years from my experiences.
