Ruber squeeking noise inside steering column

Ever sine it started getting cold, whenever I drive to work in the morning something inside my steering column squeeks. it sounds like a piece of rubber twisting up or rubbing up against something. The sound is gone within about 5 minutes of driving. Any idea what it could be?

Mine has a similar noise. Could it be the "clockspring"?
