Just Spotted Roof Mount Antenna

I apologize for the randomness but as I was just driving through the hail here in wonderful MA, I spotted a 02 or 03 Max with one of those roof mount shark fin looking antennas on the top like the ones BMW's now have and I have to say that it looked really nice (it was also painted to match car) I had never seen one before on a max and wanted to know what you guys thought...anybody know where you can buy those online?

I would not want one on my Max. Especially knowing that you have to drill a hole in your roof to mount it.

I don't think my 00 GLE would look good with it either... I think they contact aliens with those... If it came factory that way, it would be ok.

Thats a XM radio antenna. You dont need it unless you have one, or you're a ricer who wants to appear hooked up.

It is in the rear window. I love that about the Maxima. No antenna sticking up looking ugly.

If your car didn't come with it from the factory, then they're fake. You see them all the time on eBay. They just stick on with double sided tape. On the BMWs, they stick their navi and satellite radio antennas in them. I have two co-workers (one w/ 2004 530i and one with 2004 545i) with them. Same for Audi.

i think those are just something every civic owner has on their wish list and hopes it adds 3 hp for sticking it on. dont get it, and save your money for something better.
