02 HID's without highbeam

I have a 2000 and did a swap with a 2002 hid headlight. Took it to a local shop and had them do the wires and install for $100. After he was done, he told me that the high beams could not be wired in. Is that how it's suppose to be or is there a way to wire it? I'm guessing the mechanic was lazy. Well, I know how everyone hates talking about this, so if you can just PM me, that would be great.

Also, please don't post saying "Stolen Headlights! Kick His ***!". I don't want to be put on trial here for headlights that I bought. Thanks!

Methinks you had a lazy mechanic. If I am not mistaken, the headlight harness should plug into the original location that the original harness did and all you have to do is add the halogen bulb for the high beams and screw the bulb in.

He was either lazy or had no clue how to do it. It can be done because I did it.

You probably wont be using the high beams anyway. They become pretty useless when you have HIDS.

I want those 2k3 Headlights SOOOOOOO BAD. I wish NYC wasn't full of grimey, jealous, envious, pathetic loosers that probably dropped out of school and received no kind of education nor manners and now out to steal Maxima HIDS just to put some food in their stomach. grrrrrrr.. makes me so mad..
