I heard a lot of people on here saying to put the tranny cooler in Horizontaly. In the talk shop section it shows it going in horizontaly and thats the way I put it in. But I just looked over the instructions that came with mine and it said install vertically or horizontally. Is one way better than the other or is it whichever is more convienient? Thanks

it doesn't matter - either way is fine. no matter which way it's positioned it'll still be a heat sink.

Mine is installed vertically. A friend helped me out with the install. At first, I wanted to have it horizontally, but found out the hose wasn't long enough. So, I opted for the vertical install. Like Phuong said, it doesn't really matter. As long as it works.

Well, you want to put the tranny cooler in front of your radiator to where it will pick up the cool air from outside. Also, since there is limited room, the only way to really put it in is vertically. This will also give the tranny cooler maximum cooling. Hope this helps. Go to my site, and go to How-to. Then go to Tranny Cooler. That should clear up some confusion.
