I'm in the process of working on my dash and i need to know how to remove the a/c vents that are the closest to the windshield, and also how to remove the vents that are near the doors. Thanks

Are you talking about the center vents? They pop out with the clock. Just use a panel tool for the top and bottom and the whole unit should slide out. I'm not to sure about the ones by the door but I would assume they'd come out with a panel tool too.

Watch those center vents though. I took them out when I was installing my tv and they just kinda fall apart when tehy're out of the frame, and it's a ***** to put all those peices back together!

Heheh, my bad... I thought when you said A/C Vents you meant the center ones. The ones all the way up front aren't A/C... more like defogger vents.

We're starting to get closer to the answer. According to a TSB, Nissan recommends fixing the rattle from underneath the dash. Click here for a procedure guide.
