Slotted and Cross Drilled rotors

I need some new rotors. Is this a good/bad price? I am totally blind when it comes to brake parts.

Great price. Give them a try and let us know how they perform. This is the first time I've seen them for sale. Some one has to be first, so why not you? If they don't work well you can always put your stock rotors back on until you find something better. Good luck

Automax_95 does have great prices and he is getting ready to start another group deal so I would just wait and keep an eye out for the GD. At least you know that you are getting a good rotor with him.

Why would they be noisy? What do you mean, like squeeking?

When I had cross-drilled and slotted rotors on my SHO they made a humming type sound whenever I came to a stop. It was louder than normal rotors, but not enough to be annoying, especially with the radio on. I thought it was kind of cool having performance rotors that sounded different than everything else.

Blanks are just plain rotors and not slotted/drilled.

Stainless steel lines

I think I would hold off buying any generic stuff from ebay. You never know who made, and how the quality of the product is. There is no warranty and anything, so I would be careful. I'm looking for brakes too, and I thick Automax_95 had a GD and he's planning on another one. He sells Brembos which is a reputable company. Oh I read through the org and many people said the drill/slotted breaks don't really do much cept cosmetics since our rotors are small. Supposedly it only works on BBKs, so I've heard, dunno. Anyway, hope this helps

I bought drilled/slotted rotors from Irotors -- http://www.irotors.com/
They have (had? not sure if it's still running) a group deal for 2004 rotors for .org members, set up by Matt93SE for his BlehmCo BBK.

FYI- So far, I've gone a little over 3 months on these rotors with Bendix Titanium IQ pads, and they have not warped. That is a record, because every pad/rotor combination I've used, including OEM, Raybestos pads + rotors, Axxis Metal Master pads + _2004 OEM_ rotors all showed signs of warpage by ~3 months after I installed them. Hopefully they'll last at least 6 months or more
