replacement antenna
replacement antenna
My stock antenna just snapped near the base recently. I need some opinions - should a purchase a stock replacement, or does someone have an alternative that they prefer? Thanks for your input!
did the antenna mast snap off at the cable? if so u would have to remove the motor in order to retrieve the cable. the motor is held by two nuts and bolt i think but have to remove the antenna mast lockingn nut first. then once u got the motor out remove the cover which is held in by 5 or 6 screws.

Had the same thing happen to my 98. As long as the motor still works, the above model is available all the time on ebay worked for me. Took a little work, but a cheap fix and it works great.

The antenna mast snapped a the first extension, but i had to pull the entire cable out so the rest of the antenna wouldn't be hanging off the side. If my problem is the same as biscayne's, I'll probably just order a replacement mast with cable from Ebay and try the DIY method, or bring it to my local mechanic. Thanks for your help!
