I just had the Viper 130XV installed. It's remote start without the keyless entry. It works fine. I wanted everything the original fob did (trunk, window control, keyless entry, etc) but the dealer told me that wasn't possible. So I just got the remote start since I was going to have to use the original fob for all the other items.

Use a Automate 561T....it's a remote start that can be added to your existing remote....it's a DEI product so it's easy to install....

I have the Clifford Matrix with remote start and my stock keyfob still works as well. Not sure why you would even need the stock key fobs after going aftermarket but they do work...

I have Valet'd nissans with original key fobs and aftermarket starters/alarms installed...(aftermarket alarm was controlled on the original fob.)

Press the Lock 3 times - starts the car....

Press the panic 2 times (i think) - and the alarm would sound.

The aftermarket alarms/starters bypass the factory alarm.
