Hey guys... the hole in my muffler is getting bigger every day and I'm starting to get a bit too much airflow :
I've been thinking about putting in something cooler than just the replacement can. Like a glass pak or something. Not looking to get a whoole lot louder, mainly want to get something lower pitched sounding.
Any ideas?

Magnaflow mufflers are pretty nice. I have a Stillen exhaust myself....not very loud...but that's because I still have the stock cat and precat.

I have a magnaflow as well....I got it off ebay for 40-50, then I had my shop weld a tip to it. It sounds really good!!! Its nice and low. My exhaust set up is high flow cat with 2.25 piping and a magnaflow muffler.

 

I've heard Sarin's exhaust, it has a nice mellow tone to it. I'm running a Flowmaster on mine and I like it a lot. It's deep at idle, but at higher revs it gets a little raspier and louder than Sarin's but not to the point of sounding like a Fart can. How does the Magnaflow compare to your's Sarin?

 

Well....the magnaflows I've heard are on 4th gen's. One with just a budget y-pipe, stock b-pipe, and it's pretty deep. The other one is a full 3" exhaust, a cat that gutted itself, and it's S/C'ed....it's louder and raspy as hell. Funny thing was my Stillen was on this same car....and it was far louder than what it is on mine now.

Well, money got tight real quick LOL so I got a $25 Cherry Bomb Turbo. If it sounds horrible, I'll admit it and let y'all know
