yea, finally leaving iraq...

tonight is my last night here, thank god. now i can go home to my family and my max. it has been an interesting deployment. i bought springs, y-pipe, greddy sp2, rear sway bar, sse front grill, diamond floor mats, and other various parts for my wife's honda. but an interesting thing is i got my car sponsored while deployed. and will possibly be going to HIN. dont know yet. will know in about 2-3 weeks. not sure who is sponsoring me either. havent seen the package. im just really excited about returning home and wanted to share the good news. i'll keep ya'll posted. cause in a lonely sort of way you peeps are like family.

Congrats! I had a buddy over there for a year and a half. You guys deserve a lot more than a thank you for what you have sacrificed.

God Bless.

You have my gratitude. Thank you. Glad you are coming back. I hope you didn't let anybody drive your Max when you were in Iraq!

Thanks for your service. We really appreciate you guys and gals helping to keep the rest of us free. A big welcome home!

For the masses, tell us about the car being "sponsored" and what "HIN" is.

Mike

God speed on your flight back. Had 3 deployments to the middle east and know how it sucks every time in the tents and sandbox. Enjoy the feeling of driving your car again, feels like the first day you got it....get home, have a few beers, a nice burger, bit of personal time with your lady.....than sleep in.

Glad you are coming home OK....one service guy to another.

Let the mods wait though, take some time to enjoy the simple things I am sure you missed.

Welcome home... and I hope we don't hear from you in at least a month. Go to your wife, and have a great time back!!

You mentioned HONDA?? Ohhh I'm getting a seizure...HONDA? I'll just let this one pass 'cause you deserve to enjoy every second on the MAX... but an Honda...are you kidding me??

welcome back buddy, i just got home last wednesday myself. dont get too crazy when you get home, i know i have been fighting the urge myself. if youre a weekend warrior like myself, get out your pent up partying at your mob station. if not, take it easy on the people who happen to live around your post. haha. well, good to hear another one has made it home. hooah.

I know what it's like being an X military man myself. Half the time you don't have time to shed a tear for all the family and friends you miss....the other half, you're too tired! But you really do miss everyone! Come back safe and sound!
