PowerSlot Power Slot Rotor (Style:Slotted, Finish:Silver) I got questions ?

hey i wanted to find out who all has bought these rotors PowerSlot Power Slot Rotor (Style:Slotted, Finish:Silver)

What are your thoughts ?
How do you like them ?
How have they held up with usage ?
Do they look great versus old stock rust rotors ?
Are they direct replacement ?
How much do they weigh (per rotor) ?

Anything else you guys would like to share. My rotors are horrible ! and im looking for a replacement.

thanks

also what i think i want to do is to go with a silver finished rotor and have the calipers painted a glossy black, any photos would be great as well in this thread. heck i might just start a new thread about post photos of your rotors and calipers, lol ! heading outside to take photo of my setup, lol

yeah....I did the same thing but with brembo slotted zinc platted silver finish rotors....I also used the infamous G2 caliper paint system which tire rack sells as well as several other vendors online...I painted my calipers glossy black....I have painted so many other people's brake calipers in the past with all of those glossy spray can caliper paint cans in the past...and I have to say the G2 system...where you mix a activator and laquer gloss with the paint, then you paint it with a brush by hand is simply hands down better....the paint layers/texture and inherent smoothness is so much better than the caliper spray paints, and the gloss looks a lot more professional in comparison...the only downside is it takes longer and you only have about 4 hours to complete the entire project before it hardens up...additionally it will cost about 30-40 dollars for this kit which includes the brush and everything as opposed to the spray can method which is a lot cheaper...but you get what you pay for! The G2 method almost looks professionally powder-coated if you follow all the directions perfectly!..and if you have a steady hand, you don't have to take the caliper off or even mask anything off....like you have to with the spray can method...

but as for the rotors, ceasar, those should be find...! they should perform well above your needs! I just wish Baer made their new line of rotors for our cars....they are OE replacement size (currently only for domestic cars I think) and they offer it has a 2 piece construction like design that is supposedly a lot lighter than stock rotors and have the same or better heat disapation characterists...plus they offer a black hat on their rotors and a +1 option with an aluminum braket (so you can still use your stock calipers) but with a 1" bigger rotor all the way around...

i wouldn't mess around with upgrading calipers, most of the time bigger=heavier

but those rotors are great and they should be rust resistant....even then you could still use caliper paint and paint all the non-contact points of the rotor...then you'll never see any rust

back to calipers.....the only thing i did was replace all my stock calipers with remanufactured ones from raybestos and my quality of braking definitely went up from my old ones with 80K on them

Great rotors. Have had them on my other car for about a year with no problem. I run them with Hawk HPS pads. The coating holds up great as well.

only one i've got where you can actually see the caliper......if you paint them black you'll really never notice them, but they'll always look nice

ceasar you should check out the $115 big brake upgrade on the general forum page if your looking for new brakes. +1 on brush painting the calipers, ive heard from a few people that it looks much better then spray on.
