I have a OSCAI now, but if PRCAI is better than the OSCAI, I think I'm gonna have to get it because I lost to an automatic Prelude.

I don't think you'll be any quicker, but many will probably disagree with me. Why do I think the OSCAI makes as power as the PR CAI? Because I dynoed my HKS "pop" style intake WITH the hood up and I dynoed my Poorman's CAI and they made the same power at all rpms. Dyno results have shown the POP intakes making as much power as the PR CAI which mean the Poorman's CAI should make the same too. Many might say the PR CAI make more power on the street due to the cool air setup....maybe, but the same would apply to the Poorman's CAI. Does that seem logical?

I don't want to tell you what to do with your money, but why not take your $220 for the PR CAI and put it towards something that makes REAL power like the Y-pipe? The Y-pipe is the best NA mod going. After that, get a B-pipe. You'll be much happier.

You do notice that my Max performs just as good (if not better) than those with the PR CAIs, right? Doesn't that tell you something?

Well, a lot of people have said that the OSCAI/poor-mans CAI works just as well as the pop-charger style underhood intakes. In fact, many have said that they lost some low end torque with the pop-charger type intakes, but gained some with the OSCAI. For the money spent, you really can't beat this mod even if it does not perform as well as the PR CAI. Though, I would think that the PR CAI and OSCAI are pretty close in terms of performance.

Well, from what I have heard from the "Maxoholics" is the Place Racing CAI actually acts as a "ram-air" type deal because of the design on the piping, meaning, how long it is in relationship to the stock intake. But I am not 100% sure that I heard that right. I heard that about a couple months ago, so don't quote me on that. I have the Place Racing CAI and I love it, I had an HKS intake on my first Max, yes it was loud and good, but I feel that it wasn't as "powerful" as the CAI.
