My A/C keeps cycling on and off when it's supposed to be running, so I checked the charge level and found the low-side to be at 40-45psi

This seems a little high to me - I expected to see 5-25psi. If the system is overcharged then that will explain why it cycles off.

Does anyone know what psi reading I should get at the low side when the AC is on and at normal operating temp?

Thanks,
Scruit

At 50-70% relative humidity and 68 degree F ambient temperature,
- high side 114-151 psi
- low side 20-24 psi
