groaning noise when turning

I am hearing a groaning noise when making right turns from the rear right wheel only. No idea what it is but if I had to guess i would say it has to do something with the brakes. Maybe my caliper is sticking or something.

I only hear it for a quick second as soon as I make the turn and then nothing...its kinda of a low level GRRRRRRRRAAH! noise and nothing else.

You guys have any idea what it can be?

yes but this a rear right wheel we are talking about not the front. There is no axle on the rear wheels. Also I noticed that it made that sound when I went over a deep bump very slowly. Its really wired. I guess I cant tell unless I jack up the car and take a look around underneath and turn the wheel.

This might be a dumb suggestion you did you check your power steering fluid? I had a low groan from steering and i was a little low on power steering fluid so filled it up to cold and it went away or is the noise coming from the actual wheel well?

I've heard this before to my friend's maxima. What he did, he checked the rubber on his suspension and found that needs to be replaced. Just sharing something hope it'll help. I'm still a noob.

Sounds like it could be a strut bearing. Does the sound occur if you're stopped and turn the wheel, or only when you're rolling?

It only occurs when I am rolling and turn the wheel (ie a 5mph corner) Either direction I believe. I am already shopping for new springs and struts, so probabley strut bearings are in order as well.

Well for me it only occurs when making a right turn, in whatever speed...slow or fast it occurs and its almost like something is rubbing on the rotor or wheel, but its only for a sec and then it goes away.
