RPM gauge...DEAD

The RPM gauge in my Max will not move. At times it will all of a sudden bounce around, but for the most part it will not do anything, and just sits on zero. The car still runs and idles fine, but the gauge doesn't work. Anyone experienced this before, anything I can do to fix it?

It is fairly simple to get back to it. Have to remove a bunch of screws, the steering wheel cover and the whole gauge bezel but I'd bet it is a loose wire. While you are at it you can put in new gauges!!! And lights behind!!! (check my webpage for pics of mine)
