that depends on how well you are cleaning it

for a normal cleaning -
remove air box/intake tube from throttle body
spray cloth with throttle body cleaner
wipe inside of throttle body making sure that you open the flap
replace


to really clean it, you need to remove the throttle body to get to back clean. you have to remove two wire harnesses, two cables, and four bolts




but that only cleans the throttle body not the entire intake system (intake manifold) for that i recommend...seafoam

thanks for the help guys. one last question. Can I use any type of cleaners like orange blast or I must use throttle body clean? I really appreaite the help. thanks

use TB cleaner (NOT carburetor cleaner, I might add, JUST TB cleaner)

WD40 works fine from what i hear too. Correct me if i'm wrong.
