is it possible to make cornering lights to HID.. i made my fogs and headlights to 12000k and want to make the cornering lights to HID as well

 

you can get xenon bulbs, but a true HID conversion would be pointless and a true waste of money for the minor corners. PIAA Xtreme whites match oem HID perfectly, but for 12000k??? that would be very tough to match.

are you sure your oem halogens weren't brighter?

 

Yeah anything is possible if you want to spend $2000+ for a lamp thats only on when you use your directional. Id make the Fogs HID if anything.

 

cornering lights only stay on for short period of time. HIDs are not for those lights. If you turn on and off the HID bulbs occationally, it will shorten the life of the bulbs. The expert said you have to leave the HID bulbs on for at least a minute when it's turned on, and you have to wait at least a minute to turn it back on if you just turned it off.

so...i would not recommend converting cornering lights to HID.

but...it's your car, so it's up to you.

 

i got 12,000k on my fog and headlight too and wat i did was use purplr bulbs and they look sick, but i guess that only because my blinkers have the same bulbs

 

where did u get the purple lights from? wut brand? do they look exactly like or similar to the 12000k xenon HID bulbs?

 

well theyre blue ish but look purple, they go w/ headlights. they cost like 20 at pepboys, but illegal... i got a $300 citation for em but i fought it and havent been stoped since
