i bought new struts but when i ordered they send me cartriges
i brought kyb gr-2 they send me struts in the front but the rear they send me cartriges, so i am confuse do i have to change the rear strut or the cartriges, or i only have to installed the cartriges , i have factory struts on mines they are bad all around so i am confused did i order the wrong thing for the rear or whar i will like to some one to help me i just reseve the delivery today , did i bought the right thing for the rear or i have to buy struts for the rear neeeeed yourrrrr hhhhhhhhelpppppppppp???????????????
yeah you should be cool, the rears have cartridges. Just take the thing apart and you will see that they are cartridges, I can't remember exactly how they were mounted but i know that you're fine. Are you doing the install on your own, because it isn't too bad if you're somewhat mechanically inclined (i.e. able to do brake work).

Like garb said, youre ok.
The rear ones look dirty cause they do dirty work. Clean anyway and paint if it disturbs u.
Do remember to add oil inside rear tubes while installing; for cooling. Use loctite as screwing the new cap nuts on the strut tubes.
