looking for a decent rebuildable block

looking for a decent rebuildable block

i was just wondering if anyone knew where to get an ok VE motor(block and head i guess) to rebuild while im at school. i was gonna go to the Nissan dealer and see how much a new one was but whats the fun in that?? im in Chicago so hopefully Internetauto will reply to this.

I would give you the block, but I think the shipping wouldn't be worth your trouble.

All I have left is the bare block and some misc parts. Pistons, crank, heads and most of the accessories are gone. I do have a JDM upper intake as well as the timing chains and timing chain covers.

just keep going on a regular basis to the yards and see what shows up.
I was at victory over the summer and they had a fully loaded VE up on the pile Black on black, all the options too. it's probably a coffetable by now though.

i saw this guy in my area...maybe Bellevue, WA. but he is selling /parting out a VE motor. i forget if its auto or 5speed, but he wanted 200-300 for the motor if i remember right. let me know if you want me to get this guys info.
