got my MAF now what!!!

just some advice please
I know, I know everyone will say do a search and I have but wanted to know if I have everything covered.

If I only disconnect the negative will the car go back into reprogram??
Do I have to get the dealer to reprogram the ECU I read where some of you didn't after replacing the MAF and it was ok?
Main thing is also to clean the throttle body!!!
Anything else I leaving out??
Thanks

if you have a 00-01 just disconnect battery for a few hours, but if you have a 02-03 there is a more complicated reset process that i'm sure somebody has a link to

The new MAF (part #22680-2Y001) need an ECU upgrade so if you had a factory MAF before you'll probably need the dealer to reprogram the ECU. Although some people claim disconnecting the battery worked, might as well try that first and see what happens. Let us know...

i gotta do this now, i feel like my car is so weak i step on it and it just sounds more airy, not faster. so basically just plug in the new MAF, disconnect negative terminal in batt for 2-3 hrs, and clean throttle body?

I have an 03, where would I find an aftermarket MAF for my car?
