Intake Snorkel

I was looking in my engine compartment the other day and noticed that the snorkel thing that goes into the bottom half of the airbox was really loose. It was loose up by where it mounts to the radiator, but i fixed that with some zip-ties. However it is also loose at the connection with the air box. Is this normal. It seems it should be a tight fit but there was a lot of wobble there. How could i fix this.

Same thing for me. But I put some zip ties and it seems to be fine. I don't think things connected to the engine are supposed to be completely ridgid. You want some play for when the engine torques.

i dont think youre right on this one. i believe hes talking about the stock ram air intake thing, not some custom made OSCAI. i dont think it needs to be super tight, but if its in danger of falling off, then you might wanna secure it like was said above. but dont cut it off... it belongs there.
