You will find good photos of the FPR in Chilton (page 5-6) and Haynes (page 4-10).

if i touched it correctly it should be this round thing about 1 inch depth and 1 inch in diameter with hose running out side of it, which a tan looking ring around it.. one leading into the throttle body and one going the opposite way?

Famous saying: One picture is worth a thousand words. I've got to suggest, politely but firmly, that you should buy a repair manual. You are an active contributor to this forum. It's plain to see that you are serious about your car. You should understand that a manual is a tool, just like a jack or a socket wrench. It's a tool you need.
