New here, I have questions...

I've recently joined Maxima.org
I own a 1998 Sage Mist Green Maxima GXE. I bought it used in 2002. I want to get more power out of my car. Price doesn't necessarily matter to me. With that being said, I want to get the most power out of my Maxima.
If anyone know anything that can get every last bit of power out of my engine, please let me know. Thank you for your help.

welcome to the .org, nice to see a fellow maxima owner from illinois...
the best gains are through y pipe, CAI, 2000 variable intake or MEVI, check out the stickies and all the mod FAQ's and you'll get a good idea of where to go with the max.

if money REALLY doesnt matter to you, than go with forced induction.(turbo/SC)

but like the others said, y-pipe from warpspeed, or budget

and seriously, read the stickies

Are you stick or auto?

You want to get the most power out of your engine? Well...there is alot you can do to gain big power. I think the most power ever made in a maxima is 530whp and 600+wtq. If you want simple power gains, the best bang for the buck mods are: ypipe, intake, ecu, mevi.

Also...Money is not an issue?? You will be willing to spend $10,000+ to maximize the power output in a MAXIMA! well all i can say is
goodluck and have fun. Read the stickies btw.

-Paul

PS: If money is not an issue, then why would you want to build a maxima? why not a dsm, ls1, 240...?? which have much greater and EASIER potential.

Get a stillen supercharger and a cold air intake with a y-pipe with the headers. Finish that off with a 2.5 inch cat back exhaust and you'll be happy.

Should cost about $5000 total

if your trying to get every bit of power from the engine and money is no object. I suggest a 5-speed swap (if your auto) with an LSD tranny and Turbo charged running about 15lbs should put you atleast in the 400FWHP club.
