overwatted foglight bulbs. crap

Well I ordered some H3 bulbs and they ended up being 100W instead of the std. 55W. I'll be putting them into generic pepboys kinda foglights. I'm wondering if it would just melt as soon as I turn it on. Is there any way to accommodate the wiring so that it would handle the extra 45W being pushed out?

upgraded wiring harness, but i wouldn't know where to obtain one. It may crack your foglight lense as well.

Hopefully it will blow the fuse before it burns the harness.

How are your 100W foglights doing? Did you put them in?

EDIT: I just noticed that you no longer have the Maxima... but how did these foglights fare as long as you had them in?
