anyone encountered a squeaking noise from greddy exhaust?

i got my exhaust installed about a week and a half ago and am hearing a squeaking noise after the pipes are warmed up. note this is only at certian times. like bumps in the road or very briefly at certain rpm's. i think something is loose but i've gone over the whole install twice and cant think of anything. any comments.

Mine did the same thing... I thought it was the rear deck rattle so I lived with it for awhile. I took the car in for an oil change and started looking around while it was on the lift. Thats when I jiggled the muffler, theres the noise. Try jiggling and see if your hooks arent rubbing. Or take it back to whoever installed it and complain...

It's the hangers for sure..have the same problem coz the idiot who did mine used too short of a hanger and it rubs against the support hook on bumps..

Hello all. I've just installed the Greddy SP2 exhaust on my 05 Max and noticed the squeaking sound also. I jacked up the ride and noticed that the black support beam sits very close to the pipe. I basically cut some metal spacers to lower the beam about 2 inches. No more squeaking.

By the way. It's not the hangers. That's what I thought at first but thought wrong.

My apologies everyone........I thought is was the support beam. I checked it last night and it's the hanger right in front of the gas tank. The metal hanger is rubbing against the hanger bracket. I just undid the two bolts that holds the bracket, slid it off (with a little grease), then grinded the metal hanger. Re-installed it. WualaH......no more squeeking noise. Sorry about the confusion.

yes you are right, it was the metal hangar right where the pipes split. i got on my back with an air grinder and the proper safety precautions of course and fixed it. took about 15 minutes total.god that was a pain in the a$$ to find, it would only squeak when the exhaust was warm.anyways its done now.thanks.
