My foglight burned out a few weeks ago so i figure instead of having sum1 else change it i would take it on, so i went to auto zone and bought 12000 pound cpacity auto rapms for 20$ they work quite well, and now i have like 3 feet of clearence to work with, i will post pics later on tomroow, but all in all im happy with the buy, i hope this isnt a heh

 

I have those too. I needed something to help change my oil after I lowered my car so much. But now I drag my bumper to get it on the ramps. Not bad though.

 

hopefully they will still work wen my stillen kit is on otherwise theyll be for sale in the classifieds heh

thats what i was thinkin...putting a board under the ramp to get up on it.

 

oh nice.... well i think we can just either use wooden blocks to extend teh ramps.. or, u can raise the front of the car up using a floor jack, and then slide the ramps under the tires as far as it goes, and then lower the car on the ramp and drive the car up the rest of it.

 

I have these ramps and they dot give me 36" of clearance, maybe this was a slight exxageration. Unless he has a different model of the rhio ramps.

yeah but i don't think those extensions would necessarily work on his ramps. he'd have to get the $55 dollar ramp + extension set. i could be wrong though...

 

front wheels sag when you lift the car from the front and I doubt you can lift the front end so high that you can slide 36" ramps under those wheels

oh.. i didn't mean slide the whole thing under the wheels, because most of us dont' have jacks that can lift the car that high, i'm saying just raise the car as migh as it'll go, and then slide the rams under the tires.. the wheels should be a good 10" off the ground so you can probably slide about a quarter of the ramp under the tires.. i know the wheels sag, but the hard part is first getting on right?

 

rhino ramps also has a low profile ramp, it says it has a 17* incline, so that may be good for the lowered guys too. i tried to find a pic, but i cant, the interweb at work is suckin.

 

why not just use an extender? Lot easier than jacking the car up and down.

plus, if you dont make it on the first try, say goodbye to that lip

 

hahaha that's true.. i actually have two real old ramps at home, but never bought extenders, and never used themz ramps for anything more than a step stool.. are there any out there that are foldable? because it gets kinda big and is hard to lug around

You guys with dropped rides can either extend the ramps or get ramps that are made for low rides. You can buy ramps with a gentle initial slope specifically meant for sports cars and lowered rides.
