WHATS UR OPINION KYB AGX or TOKICO ILLUMINAS

whats ur best opinion for a 17 year old kid to get. Ride quality, Money wise and all ways of looking at it which strut would u pick? Please post your reason why also.

I have AGX and I'm very satisfied, people say that AGX gets stiffer in the cold, but I live in SoCal...it doesn't get cold very often.

tokico-mainly cause I just ordered them along with the eiback pro kit

The shop I usually deal with recommends them, and I trust thier word...they work almost exclusivly on Dodge Vipers.

Illuminas dampen both compression and rebound, AGX dampens only compression.

I leave mine all set at 1 for normal driving and 5 at the track. Of course Grandpa's like it soft.

I had both.. agx on my 4th gen and illuminas on my 5th gen.. they are BOTH awesome adjustable struts... but I believe I like my ride in the 5th gen more...

4th gen - sprints/agx
5th gen - s-techs/illuminas

that's the combo I would go with for each gen... of course s-techs are probably a harsher ride than others... but you got my strut choices :-)

But if you want to save some money... get the Tokico Blues.... people will chime in and let you know they are decent priced and decent struts...
