So I just installed a FTSB and I had a few questions.

One the passenger side, it is sitting really close, literally on-top, of what I believe is the AC recharge line. Is it supposed to be this close? And if so, is this safe? http://ahsan.fotopic.net/p13033161.html It looks like its touching but its actually not. Theres about enough room to slide in a sheet of paper, ya so not much.

This next one, I had to flip the Swirl Control/Valve Control/Vacuum Check Switch as mentioned in the write-up. The wire seems like it just made it. Did I do this right? http://ahsan.fotopic.net/p13033163.html

The driver's side looks fine, but I'd get a couple of washers under the passenger's side. I bet it rubs when the engine torques.

 

looks fine. just bend the a/c line's bracket down for more clearance.

 

Oddly enough... my FSTB doesn't have that problem, because that line is nowhere near it. Maybe it's just routed differently on the VQ35-powered Maxima.

 

"bend"? is that safe? I wont break it. Can you explain this a little more.

the bracket is made of thin metal. bend it down a little. it will be fine.

 

it'll be fine...mines pretty close and i haven't had any problem

 

Like George said... stick some washers under the brackets... should be a good enough fix...
