will this steering wheel fit?

ok the leather was comming off of my steering wheel when I got it so when I got home I cut all the leather off of it and now Im looking for something to replace it. I was looking on ebay and found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7967611475
do you think that will fit on my 93 se with airbag? is it going to be harder for me to find a steering wheel to fit an airbag car? if it helps I dont trust early model air bags and I am going to disable the airbag when I replace the steering wheel if not sooner.

If your not going to use the airbag when you get a new steering wheel, just get a steering wheel without an airbag, look at 240sx's and 300z steering wheels. There are some nice ones out there.

If you have an airbag assembly now, and try to replace it with a non-airbag wheel (240sx, Z, etc) like I did, you may run into some problems, its not exactly plug and play like everyone on here told me, I'll probably make a post tomorrow

Yeah, that was partially my fault. My non-airbag wheel swapped out in about 5 minutes with a 240sx one. It is a good idea to post what you needed to do to swap from an airbag to a non-airbag steering wheel.

Maximaboi, the steering wheel in that ebay link is identical to the one in my new QX4. Sorry, but I am not about to take it off to see if it fits a Maxima.

I imagine the airbags are pretty expensive, though. Kind of a big investment when you already have a Maxima airbag. If I were you I would just look for a 3rd gen Maxima wheel in better shape than yours with no airbag and swap wheels.

They make a hub that will make that steering wheel fit your car. I doubt it directly fits. Just look around for a steering wheel hub to make that one work.

I dont want a 240 or 300 steering wheel because I want the steering wheel to be leather and wood. I was thinking that my airbag would fit inside of that steering wheel because the shape looks like it might fit and the color looks like it would match also. after I pulled up a pic of that steering wheel and a pic of my wheel and compared them it doesnt look like the airbag cover will fit.

what year did Infiniti start putting leather and wood steering wheels in their cars? maybe I could find an older one.

For the QX4, it was 2001. I had a 2000 and it didn't have the wood.
