Is this the hose to insulate to get colder air?
well there's one guy on the org here that has a domain site dedicated to tweaks for the max. Most of them are for the VG, however, he said that most of the mods done to his VG will work on a VE. I wish I would've saved that site. Anyway, one of them caught my eye and he has insulated the A/C line with some kind of cloth and he said that the cabin will cool down faster and the inside temp. may drop by a few degrees. I beleive the guy lives in New Zealand. He is a frequent org. user and i'm willing to bet all of you guys know him. I just forgot his name. dam.

Ok mabye useing some type of insulation on ALL of the AC piping might have a small effect on the system ( just as on a much greater scale insulating the ducts in a home does ) but I dont think it would really be a much noticable differance. Possibly a small MPG dif??? HEY GURUS Whatchya think??

For scep tics:
Tired to go into specs on the issue: Just say crap it wont work. AND. FRY...
But those who want real boost in cooling:
Make the insulation from the A/C pump metal pipe. But as said, its important that all is tightly wrapped and will not get onto exhaust pipe...
the site is: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748507/7
Btw II
I have here in colorado a Nissan Pathfinder (made in US) that already has half of the cooling tube insulated. Never seen that on any car, but then what do I know... Still, Why only half insulation?
