E-bay GReddy style muffler..anyone here using it?

Is anyone here using the e-bay GReddy style muffler? If so, how does it sound and fit with an aftermarket B & Y pipe?

Thanks

I would give it a try, my friends have tried the really cheap mufflers, like the ones for 10 bucks and they don't sound that bad...

Do you remember the ebay username that you bought this item from? Any complaints at all with the muffler?

I'm sure you'll have to have that welded on, but if someone was going with a custom bent catback this would be a good exhaust to put on. I might have to keep this is mind. Why pay SP2 money if you get get the same sound for much cheaper.

Hmm . .

I really do not care what it looks like. What I care about is sound. Does this sound like the SP2?

do you have any sounds clips available?

I have some SP2 clips in my library I could host up to your clips so we can have a comparison.

Interesting video. Car actually sounds decent, but that probably is due mainly to that loud intake.

I don't know if you can buy just a muffler from Greddy but is it worth $120 shipped for a knockoff? Not in my opinion

I take it this is a straight-through muffler?

If it is, I'm wondering if the 23" length helps tone the noise down to stock levels at all.

I have no clue if this is straight through. I am just trying to find a cheap SS solution that will sound decent, but I may just end up back with an oem style exhaust.

Well I just had a Budget B pipe installed a few weeks ago, so I really do not need the entire catback, just the muffler section.

A straight-through muffler would be extremely annoying. Been there, done that.
