had anyone ues the tokico blue kit on their max

well im not sure what i want to do for my suspension setup bc this is my daily driver, so i don't want an agg harsh ride, i was thinkin about getting the tokico blue kit, it comes with springs that drop the max about an inch and uses the tokico hp springs, anyone running the setup and hows the ride?

my friend has the eibach prkit with kyb agx, but i think that ride is too harsh even at it softest damper setting and its a lill too pricey foir me, i could use the suggestions, thanks

The blues are mostly a stock replacement and tend to blow out with a drop. Some people were lucky and their blues didnt blow with a drop, but most do over a pretty short time.

I dont have them myself, but thats just what ive gathered from these forums while browsing for years.

I have blues that are 40k old, no problems. Springs are suspension techniques, which are a small drop. Shocks good, springs crap - gonna put the OEM SE springs back in when the opportunity presents itself.

so the verdict appears to say they are no diff thean stock, and they are like 100 dollars more. umm i asked that question bc my firend bought the kit for his integra for about 400 to his door, i guess he's claiming that the tokico blue kit has springs manufactured for that strut thats why it handles so well, since its a tokico spirng for the tokico blue strut, i think the spirngs are red, has anoyone seen these springs??

The Blues are comparable to stock, they dont handle big drops very well. If your lightly dropped you should be ok. Some have better luck then others. I have a friend who has them with Sprints. I wouldve never chosen that setup but theyve held up suprisingly. Hes had them for well over 3 yrs.

ahhh, but u think the tokico blue will handle a 1inch drop better than just replacing the stock strut with new oem ones with a 1 inch drop spring??

The stock strut is a Tokico, Tokico black. If your going to use the OEM strut, just go with the blues instead.
