Magnaflow 6" Round muffler/resonator

I plan on using a magnaflow 21" x 6" round with 3" in/out muffler as a resonator on my 3" exhaust. <because it's annoyingly loud even with a good muffler on there>

How do I make it fit here:

why do u have a 3" exhaust in the first place????
are you turbo/sc?

Muffler/resonator look good, now install them and post some sound clips

you can try to bend the piping downwords a little in the middle like a U, then put resonator in between. Youd probably have to weld some of those hanger things to it so it wont rattle.

Yes - I'm S/C'ed - gained quite a bit by adding 3" Exhaust.
Now I'm just trying to make it sound better (quieter and deeper) while maintaining power.

Looking at it closer, I think hangars alone could be a solution - Since you've got the flex section up there at the front of the piping (on the Y-Pipe) - bet there's some give in there.

Bending 3" Pipe is pretty hard without the proper machine to do it.

looks like the resonator should fit in there with no problem.. BTW do you have a part number for it? Where did you get it from, i've been searching for a 3" resonator but cant find one.

it should fit right in there. or you could take that plate off the top. might give you some space.

The part number for the magnaflow resonator (really a muffler) is 14619.
