Wrong O2 Sensor??

Ok, so I finally went and picked up a new O2 sensor. But when I got there I had forgetten which one it was because it's been so long since I looked at the codes. He asked me if it was left or right bank. I said left. Turns out I needed the right.

Can I still use the sensor I got? Or is there really a difference between left and right Front O2 sensors?

I just hate to wait till next week to get the right one, I want it in Now!

LOL

no, the only different O2 sensor is the downstream one. I can't believe that the service guy didn't look that up for you.
