Wow what a long way I have come!

I just became a donating member ... lol... so I was able to search some of my older posts it's mind boggling how far I and some others here have come. I have learned A LOT man... and spent a shi* load of $ on my car.

She's almost done now last few major mods... getting the VQ35 put in pretty soon, and then getting tranny semi-bulletproofed, and getting some components as I always wanted some maybe even a Eclipse DVD/NAVI setup... Unfortunately this board has given me so much information that I couldn't help but get the mods lol, hey sometimes knowledge isn't all that good. Haha... so guys share your experiences how far have some of you come, do you think it was worth it?

Here's my personal input on whether all the mods were worth it...

In one word YES very much so!!! I enjoy the car 100000x more now than I ever would have if it was stock...

How much you paying him if you don't mind me asking? I wouldn't have the slightest idea where to start with something like that.

Oh yeah. Found it http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=364779.

That's not bad at all. What maybe $1-1.5K more than getting a new VQ30 put in? Maybe in another hundred thousand miles .

Sorry for whoring you're thread.

Ok...I don't get it....744 posts and you think you've come a long way?.....

I guess it depends on whose perspective you look at it from...most of the older guys have had more than 2 maximas...(3 for me) gone from completely stock to almost fully modded at one time....then the fudgepackers on here started doing VQ35 swaps and stuff like that...

WTF does a VQ35 swap do to merit such an inane comment?

I'll be the first to admit I read 10 times more than I post which is not to say I've been on here for nearly 2.5 years. Why are you referring to guys that are swapping motors as fudgepackers?

dude what crawled up ur as$. its not always about how many posts someone has......its about what you learned.

cuz someone can have 10,000 posts....but maybe all that means is that they have no life and they mite have as much knowledge as someone whose posted only 500 times.

you dont have to post on every thread you read to learn something

First thing you need to do is calm down...no one was referring to you. I have seen was watch Harris post for some time, and watched what he has wanted to do to his car from the Mevi install to this. I've done more to my maxima than you have, so don't start talking out your @$$. Besidses, Harris is a big boy you don't have to come stick up for him

Harris,

I was joking with the fudgepacker comment, Rob is cool with me, and he does great work.

Well i have only had one max and i know for sure that in a years time i have come along way. Last year i barely knew how to putt on a air intake. Since that time I have done all my mods myself except the water/alcohol kit and tunning. Needless to say everything was a learning experience
