New PB.

Last time at the track I ran a best of 15.135@94.13 with a 2.38 60 ft. Yesterday I was running 15.0s all day which was encouraging but still disappointing. This was with launching at 1500rpm with feathering the clutch and the gas pedal. So at 9:59pm I got pissed, I revved it to 1800-2000, dropped the clutch and just stomped on it. Results,
rt .384
60ft 2.27s(same ****ty all season tires at~30psi)
1/8 9.636@73.69
1/4 14.85@94.46

Two runs later,
60ft 2.32
1/8 9.685@73.60
1/4 14.899@94.55

My last two runs of the night were with Xmax's BFG drag radials
60ft 2.20/2.21
1/8 9.559@74.45/9.566@74.47
1/4 14.81@90.73(had to shift into 4th with the DRs, I didn't)/14.80@93.73(in 4th)
When I crossed the line my speedo showed 100+mph, with the DRs.

The pissed off run is strange, good 60', good trap, and sh!tty time (15.85) or is that a typo.

Was I supposed to launch at like 3500 rpm or higher with the DRs?

I'm not too happy with it. Then again to go from 15.15 to 14.8 in just 2 visits is great. Like I asked, with DRs, is it better to launch at higher rpm?

Yes cuz when i was on regular street tires I would launch somewhere between 1400 to 1500, on my DR i would launch somewhere between 1700 to 1800.....If I were to launch at 1700 on street tires, I would spin from my experience.

The more you go, the better you get. Same thing happened to Neal before he ran is record time.

With the DR's at 14-15 psi you should be able to drop the clutch at 3.5K-4K and pull 2.0-2.1 without warming them up.
