Who was it that measured engine bay temp while parked/moving?
I remember that thread from about 6+ months ago, someone hooked up a temp reader, and measured the temp of the engine bay while moving, and also after standing at a redlight.
does anyone have a link to this thread? I searched for it, but maybe i am not searching with the correct key words. anyone help me out here? thanks.

I datalog with my scantool (www.autoenginuity.com) which reads off the stock air intake temp sensor and ECU
If the outside temp is about 75 degrees F and i'm sitting at a light, the temps go past 150 degrees easily, once the car starts moving above 35 mph the temps are about 80-90 degrees F.
I can try it again if ppl are interested to get a exact range

Still have the probe right next to the K&N filter. All winter it followed the same rule. While moving the underhood temp would run about 2-8 degrees above the outside temp. At a light the temp would go up, but if it was 30 degress out it would go up to 80 at a light, not the 150+ degrees i saw in the summer when stopped
