steering wheel removal

whats up guys.
i recently got an alignment done, since my car pulled to the right and my steering wheel was crooked towards my left.
since i got my alignment done, it doesnt pull anymore, but the steering wheel is bit off to the right. i wanted to take it off and realign my steering wheel to the center since its bothering me. anyone know how to take the steering wheel off?
i see two screws on the side of the wheel covered in plastic, its in some kind of weired shape, do i need to remove that? i need help.

Your car hasn't been properly alligned if that's the case. Do you think Nissan mounted your steering wheel crooked from the factory?

This has been covered before. DO NOT attempt to remove the steering wheel. After an alignment if the steering wheel is off center then the outer tie rod ends are differentially adjusted to "center" the steering wheel. Be aware a perfectly aligned car with a "perfectly centered" steering wheel will probably still exhibit a slightly left of center steering wheel off center condition when driven on a "normal" road. This is because most single lane roads are not flat but crowned and are sloped to the curb side.

no but my car is lowered, so i thought maybe that was the reason why it was still crooked.

Why would you "live with it"?? Take it back to the place where you had the alignment done, tell them which way and how much the steering wheel is offset (they hopefully may drive the car to see for themselves) and they will adjust the outer tie rods (differentially) to bring the steering wheel back to center. It doesn't take long.

My car is lowered too. I'd recommend having the business that alligned your car, try again.

They will only have/want to check TOE. All that they are going to do is lengthen one tie rod by lets say 1/4 turn and shorten the other one by 1/4 turn.
