Yeah, I think you tapped into the wrong side of the turn signal light. You need to wire it to the parking light wire of the turn signal. You are taliking about the fogs stying on with the parking lights, right?
yeah but i figured out that because the fogs were left on on the light stick they will go off when yopu hit the alarm. As long as you turn them off they do not blink when you set the alarn. The pic tho is of just the rewire.
I followed these directions http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/fog_rewire.html
Everything is ok. What I was saying is that if you leave the fog lights on on the stick they will go on when you set the alarm. I got it now that you have to put the fogs in the off position. Damn.

OK, here's the deal and the correct way. Since we have both have the same model year, the wiring is completely the same. From the fog lamp relay, CUT the yellow wire with the silver stripe. This is the wire GOING to the fogs. Now, tape off the end of the wire coming OUT of the relay, and tuck away somewhere. Now, from the other side of the wire (the one going to the fogs) splice ANOTHER wire to it to give it some extension so that we can tap into the turn signal. Now, take this extension wire to the passenger side turn signal socket.(To be on the safe side, you can install an inline 5 amp fuse in this extension wire at this point). From the turn signal socket, SPLICE the extension wire into the red wire with yellow stripe. DONE. Now, your fogs will come on with the parking lights regardless of the light switch setting. Also, they won't flash with the alarm. Yeah, those directions for the how-to writeup are for the '02-'03 models, eventhough he mentioned the colored wires for the '00-'01 models. Since the '02-'03 models don't have the dual filament turn signal wiring like the '00-'01 models (for parking light purposes), it's recomended to tap into the TAILIGHTS, whereas the '00-'01 models to tap into the TURN SIGNAL. Whew! I hope this clarifies everything. Yeah, I found out the hard way when I installed the HID's.

I think you read the innerbean site wrong because I did it and spliced into a TAILLIGHT RELAY not TURNSIGNAL RELAY that is what I tried to say earlier. Double check in the relay panel the relay I used said taillights on the relay box cover and I used innerbean's site also. Not to make you angry or anything I just think you might have read it wrong. The wiring was different for the years, maybe you did the wiring for an 02-03. We are just trying to help you.
