What you have really isn't a CAI.....it's must a cone intake. However keep your eyes peeled, I might have the original one that most designs are based off available soon.

It's an old pic it has red-couplers now, and actually had a real midpipe instead of some cheesy hosing, here it is:

Well you'd probably have better luck talking to Jeff....I can't remember if he had an extra or not. Littlepiggie is long gone for sure. Haven't heard from him in over a year.

has anyone tried buying like a honda S2000 intake and cutting it to size? Thats what we used to do to make CAI for 4cyl. mazda 626's. they are cheap enough to buy off ebay and have a couple of different bends and more than enough piping.

His prices are cheaper! But then again, with me, one will actually receive an intake.

Sorry. I believe there was you interested in a CAI and then one other guy interested in either a CAI or just a midpipe. I haven't heard from the other guy. I believe I sold the last cai for about $100 shipped. Includes the cai piping, 3" couplers and hose clamps. But no maf adaptor or cai filter. But I do have A maf adaptor. I don't know if it would work for you but you are welcomed to it. K&N canister style filters are fairl cheap on ebay also.
ie http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...977383257&rd=1 This is what I use for my 3-gen.

I think this is what Sarin uses for his 2nd gen version.

Yeah, I used the slim one because I had a small issue with the filter making the splash shieild buldge a little.

Jeff, I was the one interested in the just the midpipe. I then sent another pm asking about the cost and me sending a payment that week if you needed me to but you never got back to me on it. If we can still work something out with getting the midpipe pm me. Im still interested.

Downey, what year/gen 626 was that? How did you like the 626 compared to your Maxi?

i had a 98 4cyl 626. it was my first car. ive also had a 89 probe, and 04 corolla amongst other cars. i liked my 626 better, only because it was my first car i bought, and its aftermarket is a little better than the 2nd gen max. but i really would like a newer gen max, i think im hooked on maximas now.
