I was just wondering what you all thought of putting these in our Maximas.

Run off the same belt the AC runs on. Make a bracket the attaches to the engine wherever possible. It can be calibrated with different size pullies. The smaller the pully, the greater charge. Larger pully for less charge. You'll also need an oil source to keep the ball bearing lubed. Seems real simple.

that one is literally a belt driven turbo.
you'd be better off doing a VG30e setup, less wasted power

working out ideas isnt the problem

the problem is first no one is going to fork over the money to accually FINISH the project weve seen severall supercharger installs attempted and discussed them in greak detail but they were never sucessful yet there are more than a handful of turbo VGs and VEs running around so why not use a proven methed that works just as well if not better.

there are only a few members on this board that could get a supercharger to work and i garruntee you non of them would have to ask any questions (atleast on this board) to get it to work

Subs, that is probably the best quote of the last three years. I think that tells exactly why these questions are so annoying.

It's one thing for it to be cheap, its a totally other thing to make fit/work.

i've always thought a centrifugal super charger would be easier than a turbo, because u don't have to make pipes that tap into ur exhaust.. less plumbing routed everywhere around the engine.

i always thought it was easier too. but Joe is right, make it work is definitely the most important part.
