the wierdest thing is driving me nuts.........

my gas light is stuck on. i changed the light bulb to an LED bulb and now it wont go off. so i tried putting the old bulb back and at first it stayed lit as well, but now it wont light at all and the led stays on still. so what the hell is the probelm? any ideas?

Didn't you just post about this a week or so ago... you've clearly screwed something up with the circuit board/traces when you did the LED swap..

yeah, but i got no responses, kiinda like today. and ive been playin around with it but ive had no luck

the bulb for the gas light is sent a variable voltage signal, if you notice the gas light comes on dim at first and gets brighter as the fuel level gets lower. LEDs are only on/off components so that may be why. leds are also polarity sensitive meaning that if you have it in their wrong it may not work correctly. or like njmodi said you may have fkd something up.

Well I should wrap this up before I start to ramble.

I have the same problem. I put a led in there and it stays on, i have not tried to change the polarity yet, i will do that this Sunday, I let you know.
