My Maxima got totaled in a Parking Lot *Pics*

Here are some pictures of my totaled 1995 Nissan Maxima GXE. This was my first car. Anyway here is how the accident happened, I was driving down a parking lot and got blindsided by some girl cutting through parking lot lanes, then I spun out and hit a parked car. I wasn't too happy about it but I got the money from her insurance and bought a 1997 Maxima SE which you can see in the background on one of the pictures.

Were you able to keep the 95? If so, you could part it out or save some of the parts for when your 97 needs them down the road.

I was also in a similar accident, most of the damage on the rear door. Technically that one was my fault though even though it was a weird circumstance and the old guy who hit me could have stopped. That's the story of ol' 98 sage mist gle . It wasn't totalled though. We sold it after, just in case there could be any other problems with the frame, etc. down the road. Glad you got another Maxima, and a newer one too! Automatic or Manual?

No the insurance would not let me keep the car, but it would have been nice to.

accidents suck big time ... but when they happen, all that matters is that you are OK ... ... did you have any injuries ?

So what's the 95 doing in your driveway and the 97 doing in the garage? Did they pay you out and haul the 95 away?.

Dude that's quite a bit of damage. It's into the structure, that's a lot of cutting and welding to fix that. Not just putting new doors on and bending things back. We get 04' cars all the time with that much damage at the shop that are totaled out. I would almost bet that if it was a 02' maybe 03' maxima it would be totaled out They'll total anything out nowadays. Sorry about the car but atleast you got a 97'

i know this is bad but.... why can't something like that happen to my 97' I would be THRILLED...

Yes it was a lot of damage to the frame. When i drove it home I had to hold the steering wheel 8 degrees to the left to keep the car going straight.
