frankencar is known to be one of the quieter (better IMO) catbacks available for the max...that or cattman is definitely what i would choose if had the money...

EDIT: and the quality is also great on it as well..

If you're looking for power production get headers first.

ya i know...but i dont wanna drop 600-800 on some headers...unless there is somewhere that has them for much lower then that...i havent looked around much, so im not sure of exact prices...the 480 for the full cat back exhaust sounds like a really good deal..

although that may be true, if power IS what you are looking for, the best thing to do would be to save up for headers...if you can afford $480, you can probably wait a little longer to save up for the headers....a catback shows very minimal gains and is usually one of the last things people do to finish off their exhaust....

A really good deal for shiny exhaust parts and a little sound .. not happening in my book, I'd rather have the power w/o the sound or flashyness, but that's just me.

Also, I want to keep the car quiet, and if headers are in your future plans, it might be louder than you want it wit a full cat-back + headers.

From what I've seen on the .Org, on a stock 5.5 (note, these are very rough averages/approximations based on various dynos I've seen on other member's cars):

$450-600 cat-back gains approx. 3-5 whp
$200-350 y-pipe gains approx. 6-10 whp
$550-800 headers gain approx. 20-25 whp

My point here is not to show you the exact gains... but more to illustrate the hp/dollar differences between those exhaust components. I'm sure you can see for yourself.

Btw, I have a Frankencar cat-back (with Cattman y-pipe)... I love the way it looks, fits, sounds and I'm sure I only gained like 3-5 whp with some added weight... but hey, its good enough for me... for now...

If you're gonna get headers eventually and you care about noise... get headers first and see how ya like that and then add the b-pipe/cat-back if that's still okay for ya... so many people get a cat-back first and then get a y-pipe or headers and then don't like the way it sounds...
