Anybody been successful putting 00/01 fogs on a 02/03?

I searched and never found a write-up or pictures of it done. I think they look better as they match my headlights and want to get rid of the glass fogs on my 02. If I missed it in my searching please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I'm actually interested in doing the same thing. I have an 03 and I'm tired of replacing the glass. I just have been using OEM bulbs, but I would like to put in an HID kit. I'm not doing it though until I can find some lights that don't break. If anyone can verify that the 5th gen fogs will fit in the 5.5th gen bumper please let us know. (I don't think the bumpers changed did they?)

Ok, thanks. Do you know if they were close enough that they could be made to fit, or is it a completely lost cause?

I was thinking about this the other day....if you put like clear finger nail polish or like some sort of clear sealant on the fog light wouldn't it be harder for it to break? and if it does break wouldn't it keep the water out? Just a thought....

I think the holes don't match up on the back for proper fitment.... they had said that you will have to actually modify it, but it can be done...

not a complete loss, it can be done.....

I know some people have had good results in using a layer of 3M protective plastic on the outside of the glass, but it adds to the problem of cracks due to heat (the plastic acts as additonal insulation). I'm thinking about trying it because the HID kit should actually produce less heat, but since I already need to buy two new lights (both are cracked all the way through), I just thought it would be nice to find a stronger replacement that I wouldn't have to worry about again.
