Installing Subs in Bose stock system

I have Bose as my stock audio system. I want to install a ECLIPSE 12" sub or 2. What would i need for a clean install and for the sub to hit right? I would be using the stock Headunit from Bose.
Any ideas or comments appreciated. Also, my experience with car audio is very minimal but I am very mechanically inclined and could follow directions quite easily(if that helps) Thanks in advance.

need some type of wiring kit to power the amp and some rcas to run the amp. Get a nissan wiring harness that converts speaker level outs to pre-amp outputs so you can hook up rcas to your bose headunit. Your bose headunit doesn't put out alot of watts at low volume so it won't hit real hard at low volume but crank it up and it bumps great.

Or you can do what I did and just splice into the Rear speaker wire and run your subs off that. it works great

You'll need the PAC AOEM-NIS2 kit. It will not require modifying the stock harness at all, and will give you 4 RCA outputs out of the stock Bose HU.

If you have additional questions, read the Audio FAQs. This question has been answered many many times over.
