JL or Alpine amp for my JL Subs

JL or Alpine amp for my JL Subs
I bought a wedge box with two 10'' subs. I want a nice amp to push these but I don't want to spend $400 on an JL 250/1. I was thinking of using an Alpine sub woofer amp which is $200 cheaper, but I'm not sure how well it would push the JL's. Any suggestions?
would be nice to know what Alpine you are considering......
I'd look into a Kicker kx400.1, it'll do double the power of the jl for much less
