ECU code 0409 - not listed?!

I checked the stickies. According to the link provided, 0409 = undefined error. wtf??

I recently installed an aftermarket y-pipe last weekend...

Can anyone fill me in here? Thanks.

Thanks. um, can you now tell me where I can find that sensor? Is it on the y-pipe towards the front of the car, or the one more towards the rear?

Its the one in the y-pipe closest to the firewall.

so wait. when the CEL comes on for the O2 sensor, what exactly does that mean? Is the sensor not sensing? Is the sensor still working but reading an improper amount of O2?

Trying to figure out if it's necessary to purchase a new sensor.

Thanks.

u're better off buying a new one , rather than trying to figure out if it's the sensor or if its the wires or wat not

check out the group deal...u can get a Walker sensor that's a direct plug-in for around $57 shipped....or u can buy my used OEM bosch one for $25 shipped...has about 97k miles on it tho

I just got a 02 sensor code on my moms 97.
$57 is a lot better than $118
